Hire specialists.
Not generalists.

Colleges, sixth forms, and schools. A shortlist matched to the brief, checks named up front, and a fee agreed in writing before we start.

A faster hire is not always a better hire.
We will tell you which it is.

We measure a placement by whether the person is still in post and doing the job you hired them for. If the field is thin, or a start date is unrealistic, we say so at the brief — not after you have waited.

Every brief is owned by an education consultant. Every shortlist is checked against the standards that apply to that role: current KCSIE expectations, DBS, qualifications, and references. If a check is outstanding, it is marked as outstanding.

What we do.

Four ways of working, for how colleges, sixth forms, and schools actually hire.

  • Permanent placement

Teaching, curriculum, and leadership roles in schools, colleges, and sixth forms.

Permanent appointments across further education, schools, and colleges. Retained or contingent, depending on how confidential the search is and how specific the brief is.

    • Principals, heads, and senior leaders
    • Curriculum and quality leads
    • Lecturers and subject specialists
    • Pastoral, SENCO, and support roles
  • Contract & interim

Cover for inspection, exam season, parental leave, and gaps in the timetable.

Fixed-term and day-rate cover in colleges and schools. We agree the checks and the start date before anyone is put forward, and we tell you if a date is not realistic.

    • Interim leadership cover
    • Lecturer and assessor cover
    • Inspection and quality support
    • Checks agreed before a start date
  • Several hires

Campaigns and preferred-supplier arrangements for college groups, sixth forms, and school trusts.

When you are hiring more than once, one consultant owns the work. You get a single point of contact and the same check standard on every shortlist.

    • Preferred-supplier arrangements
    • Campaigns of several hires
    • One point of contact
    • A check pack with each shortlist
  • Retained search

Confidential search for principal, head, and senior education appointments.

A written view of the market and a longlist that explains why each person is on it. We do not present a name as ready until the checks you asked for are done.

    • Market mapping, shared with you
    • Written longlist with reasons
    • Structured interviews
    • References taken before offer

The terms,
in writing.

Some organisations stay with a single brief. Others move to a preferred-supplier or retained arrangement once the first search has shown how we work. Either way, the commercial terms are the same: written down before we start.

The hiring organisation pays the fee. Candidates are not charged. You receive a check pack with each shortlist, and a plain account of what is done and what is still open.

Send us
the brief.

Send the essentials. An education consultant will come back, usually within one working day, with next steps and an honest view of who is available.
